About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Marketing Executive with a strong background in the aerospace and defence industry. The ideal candidate should combine marketing acumen with hands-on experience in government tendering processes. This role requires a professional who can understand technical products, manage tenders, and drive marketing initiatives that contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to the aerospace and defence sectors.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
- Manage and coordinate government tender activities—including identification, preparation, documentation, submission, and follow-up.
- Handle day-to-day activities on government e-tender portals (GeM, eProcurement, etc.).
- Collaborate with technical, engineering, and sales teams to prepare proposals, bid documents, and marketing materials.
- Analyze pricing strategies, and assist in proposal costing.
- Represent the company at client meetings.
- Prepare marketing performance reports and assist in strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of marketing or business development experience in the aerospace and defence industry.
- Tendering Expertise:
- Hands-on experience with government tender portals (GeM, eProcurement, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of aerospace and defence tender processes, including bid preparation, documentation, and submission.
- Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing, components, and systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with defence procurement procedures (DPP/DPM) and offset policies.
- Experience in proposal writing for defence and aerospace clients.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and align them with marketing goals.
