Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Design and implement evaluation layers for tracking user actions, engagement, and in-app metrics
- Develop scalable APIs to support real-time mobile interactions and generative AI features
- Integrate video processing and template management functionality into backend services
- Handle database management (SQL/NoSQL), authentication, and security
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX developer and product leaders for seamless feature delivery
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in backend frameworks (Node.js, Next.js, or similar)
- Experience building evaluation/analytics modules and scalable microservices
- Comfortable developing and maintaining template/video integration backends
- Track record integrating with generative AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, HuggingFace, etc.) and handling diverse data models
- Mobile-first architecture mindset — experience launching products on mobile before web preferred
- Excellent collaborator — thrives working alongside seasoned product managers and cross-functional teams
